Accessibility
Accessibility.
This site is built to be usable by everyone, on any device, with any assistive technology.
Our standard
We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we test against them as the site changes. Accessibility checks run as part of the automated test suite on every deployment.
What that looks like here
- Every page works with a keyboard alone: a skip link, visible focus indicators, and dialogs that keep focus where it belongs.
- Text and interface colors meet AA contrast minimums, including small text and focus rings.
- Images carry text alternatives; purely decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
- The home page slideshow has a pause control, and moving content never traps or blocks anything.
- Headings, landmarks, and page language are marked up so assistive technology can navigate by structure.
- Videos play through the Vimeo player with keyboard controls; captions are available where the source video includes them.
Known limitations
Some embedded video clips, especially older ones, may not include captions. We are working through the archive as time allows.
Found a barrier?
