Privacy

Privacy.

Plain English, short version: analytics only with your OK, no ads, and nothing is ever sold.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to understand which pages resonate. Analytics cookies are set only after you choose Allow in the consent bar. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set, any from an earlier choice are removed, and at most Google receives cookieless, identifier-free technical pings that it uses for aggregate modeling. Nothing links those pings to you or to repeat visits.

When allowed, Google Analytics sets its standard cookies (names starting with _ga) to distinguish repeat visits. Your choice itself is remembered in a single first-party cookie named ar-consent for twelve months. That cookie stores one word, granted or denied, and nothing else.

Privacy signals

If your browser sends Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track, this site treats it as a decline automatically and the consent bar never appears. You can still opt in manually with the Cookie preferences button in the footer.

Embedded content

Video pages embed the Vimeo player with its Do Not Track option enabled, which tells Vimeo not to collect analytics about your session. The home page shows a live Instagram feed: your browser fetches those images and the feed data directly from Instagram’s servers, which see your IP address like any image host and may log the request. Links to Instagram, X, Facebook, and IMDb elsewhere on the site are plain links; nothing loads from those services until you click through.

Server logs

Like nearly every website, the server keeps routine logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting. Logs rotate on a short schedule and are not used for profiling.

What this site does not do

  • No advertising and no ad networks.
  • No selling or sharing of personal information, in the CCPA sense or any other.
  • No contact forms and no email capture. Inquiries go through management.
  • No cookies at all until you make a choice in the consent bar.

California

This site honors GPC opt-out signals as described above and does not sell or share personal information. Questions from California residents can be routed through the contact page.
